MANCHESTER - This Manchester United (MU) boss is under scrutiny once again after he was charged by the Football Association for kicking a water bottle in frustration during the 1-1 draw against West Ham at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Mourinho was angered by referee Jon Moss’ decision to book Paul Pogba for diving and was sent off for his protestations. It was the second time within a month Mourinho was sent off by a referee for his touchline conduct.
And Gale reckons the 53 year old is looking for a way out of Old Trafford.
“My interpretation of Jose’s actions at the weekend is that he wants out of the job," he said on Sky Sports.
“He looks like a man that wants to get sacked. I can’t really understand what is going on with him,” he added.
Meanwhile Graeme Souness reckons Mourinho is behaviour like an amateur.
“He’s a vastly experienced manager but some of his antics suggest he is just a new guy starting off in the game,” he said.
“He won’t be enjoying that being said about him. But in terms of football, I think he is being let down by his players.
“That group of players should have more points in the bag than they have so far," he concluded.
