CIBINONG - Indonesian national team secure the victory in the first leg of 2016 AFF Cup semifinal. Facing Vietnam in Pakansari Stadium, Cibinong, Bogor, Saturday (3/12) Indonesia won 2-1.

Goal for
Garuda team scored by a header Hansamu Yama in the 7th minute and Boaz Salossa penalty in 50th minute. Vietnam goal dedicated Nguyen Van Quyet via penalty spot in the 17th minute.

Despite pocketing victory, Indonesia could not breathe. The result of first leg makes Vietnam at least enough to get a
win minimum 1-0 while playing in second leg in Hanoi on Wednesday (7/12). Indonesia only needs a draw. Defeat with one goal difference over 2-1 could also make Indonesia win the game.

On this basis, Vietnam coach Nguyen Huu Thang remains optimistic his team can reach
2016AFF Suzuki Cup final. He filled  players mentally are not affected play in front of Indonesian supporters, and were able to make away goals.

"I'm happy with good mentality from
my players.They can play well in the middle of the positive support Indonesian supporters. One away goal could be our advantage in the second leg," said Huu Thang.

Vietnam, said
Huu Thang, still have to work hard to pave the way to the final.
"Congratulation to Indonesia can win tonight. My team already play according to my instructions. However, this result is difficult for us, so we would go straight into the second leg," said this former foster Alfred Riedl.
"I am not surprised by the strength of Indonesia, but I am confident in my players," he added.

Meanwhile, Indonesia coach, Alfred Riedl admitted that the chances of Indonesia has not fully secure. He immediately evaluate his team in order to perform better when in Vietnam.

"This victory is not quite ideal, and we must make a plan ahead when we played in Vietnam. We have to learn our game earlier and determine the appropriate way for the second leg," said Riedl.
