BANDUNG - Bandung Class I Immigration Office plans to examine the profile of the Persib Bandung two foreign players, Michael Essien and Carlton Cole, Monday (4/17). These checks related to their reporting Limited Stay Permit Card (Kitas) allegedly not in the pocket of this two players.
"The plan today will be checked, to what extent do they have a requirement Kitas or recommendation, or not at all. We want to check first to Persib, it is not the players but the managers first," said Chief of Section Wasdakim, Class I Bandung Immigration Office, Agustianur on Monday (17/4).
He said, the temporary residence permit issued by the immigration office, even before the filing of Kitas, foreign nationals are required to have visas first.
Even so, it hoped the two former Chelsea player has bagged Kitas, considering both had their contract. But to be sure, it must do the checking.
"If we had a contract that much, so hopefully legal, but later we check first caretaker (Essien and cole). The administration may already be in the league," he said.
Previously, Indonesian Professional Sports Agency (BOPI) reported who plans to cast a warning letter to PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB) concerning the permissibility of Persib Bandung two foreign players, Michael Essien and Charlton Cole during the game against Arema FC on Saturday (15/4) ago in the opening match of League 1 2017 at Bandung Lautan Api (GBLA) Stadium.
Secretary General BOPI, Heru Nugroho said, two Persib foreign players are not pocketed Kitas, so that it is not allowed to play in Indonesian league, it is according to the agreement when BOPI issue a recommendation to the passing of the highest caste competition to PT LIB.
BOPI questioned why PT LIB can approve Essien and Cole grazing in the match. Though, he added, PT LIB year these two players have not pocketed Kitas and break the rules in this country.
