TOKYO - Indonesia Men's Double, Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo/Marcus Fernaldi Gideon completed the mission at Japan Open Tournament 2017 with the title of men's doubles sector.

Compete at the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium, Sunday (24/9), this third seed won two straight games 21-12, 21-15 above Takuto Inoue/Yuki Kaneko.

This is Kevin/Marcus's first win in the Japan Open Tournament. The victory was at once improved record meeting against Takuto/Yuki to 3-0. Uniquely every victory always ends with a straight game. Finally at the India Open 2017, Kevin/Marcus won 21-16 and 21-18.

In this match, Indonesian men's doubles easily control the game in first game. In the first interval, they were able to lead 11-6.

Pressing strategy from the beginning make the host players overwhelmed every time returning a punch. As a result, Kavin/Marcus quickly closed the first game 21-12 within 14 minutes.

Quick game shows again by Kevin/Marcus in second game. This All England 2017 champions lead again 11-6 in second interval. The advantage was kept Kevin/Marcus until finally they close the game with 21-15 within 29 minutes.

With this victory, Kevin/Marcus overall has garnered four titles this year.  Previously, they have been collecting titles at the All England, India Open, Malaysia Open and Japan Open 2017. As quoted from Badminton Indonesia, this victory makes Kevin/Marcus in world's first rank.
